It can be hard to cope with a disease like crohn's. Aside from all of the physical challenges, there are a few things that you can do for your emotional well being. Such as keeping a daily routine and accepting and moving forward with treatment.

What helps you keep a positive outlook on life?

When I was diagnosed years ago, I kept asking why. I found out that nobody knows exactly why, I was hard to except a diagnoses like that. I was told by a wise man years ago that things happen for a reason, we may not see why today or tomorrow or ever but there is a plan for all of us and we need to learn as much as we can and learn how to take care of ourselves. I started helping others that had the same problems as I did. By helping others it helped me hold on to my sanity. I learned that there are a lot of wonderful friends out there and we help each other. So I guess my positive outlook is to help others every chance I get. This is what keeps me going.
